Default BOV Upside down okay?

I did do a search but it seems as though most people were looking for placement as in before the throttle body, etc.. What I want to know is can I mount it on the bottom side of my intake pipe before the "Y" section? The main reason is my entire engine and bay combination is black and silver and my tial 50mm BOV is blue. I have plenty room on the bottom side. This way you wouldn't even see the BOV. Just don't want to ruin the look if I don't have to.

I don't see any problem with that.

The wave created from closing the throttle plate under boost, is not going to care if the bov is on top, on the side or on the bottom of the pipe.

It doesn't matter, mine is sideways'ish/upside down'ish. To my understanding (and how mine is setup) is its best to place it between your turbo and IC in order to relieve pressure from the IC. I always wanted to put a bov on the other side of my IC (in addition to the one tial I already have). I just never blew apart an IC to warrant it, however I've seen an IC break open as a car rolls out of the burn out box before at the track

Thanks gentlemen. I am not running an intercooler so I was just going to put it about 3" from the throttle body, upside down. I thought about rattle can painting it but don't know how that would look. If it turned out okay, I would do as mentioned and have it more on the side and top to kind of show it off.
