lq4 with a f1r with a cog setup

im in the process of getting a lq4 complete motor and putting my flr procharger what are your guys ideas for wastegate cam heads trying to do a budget build to get the car running then do a 408 short block later on down the road,

ive done search and really didnt get the answers i was after so any info would be great thanks

F1r and cog is not very budget minded! Lol your weak links are going to be pistons and rods.not a very thick deck on stock heads but a lot of people do it. Or pully it down as much as possible till you can build your motor but I would think your on borrowed time.

yeah i have the cog setup cause i was gonna do a normal sbc but now im going the ls route. i was thinking of doing cam and heads and a tune along with like 8 to 10 psi on boost
