Default Where to get really high temp oil return hose?

So I'm having a hard time sourcing some good 1/2 inch oil return hose. I've tried a couple differant ones from home depot type places. They get really hard after a couple thousands miles and I'm afraid on a long trip it might crack and leak.

I'm in chicago so local would be great but I have no issue with ordering.

If you want piece of mind, get some braided PTFE hose and sleeve it with some fiberglass/silicone heat sleeve. That's what I've done with most of my lines that are the most susceptible to heat.

Post a pic of your setup.

Good quality oil hose should be fine unless routing is incredibly bad. And if routing is incredibly bad, make a steel return until it is safely clear of extreme heat

This is what I do and haven't had any trouble. I did manage to melt a standard rubber braided line without a heat sleeve but I don't have a very good path for the drain.

Probably braided stainless teflon hose would have the highest temp rating as already mentioned. The other type of sleeve you could use to cover it is the aluminized fiberglass cloth. I used it to cover the heater hose and AC lines on my Impala SS when I put headers on it a few years ago.
