pulley size boost?

pulley size boost?

I have a ps1 wondering how much boost would a 3.2 pulley make with long tubes, and stock H & C.

~ 1 more PSI then then the 3.4, I see 7.5 with no cats.

My friend made 7 lbs with the same basic setup and a 3.4 inch pulley. I would guess about 8 lbs!

Cool thats about what I was hoping for 7 to 8. My buddy thinks I am going to make like 9 to 10,which I wouldn't mind.

Na, going to a 3.4 to a 3.2 is only ~3000rpm impeller speed. I picked up almost 1 PSI (we are ~1500' above sea level here) going from the 3.4 to the 3.2. If I wind it up to 6600 I see ~8.5, if I shift at 6400 it hits ~8 or so with the FLP cats. Without cats I see about a half pound less boost. you wont see near 10psi unless you shift at 7500 rpm

I am using a 3.2 reichard 'ultra grip' pulley and I havent had any slip problems at all. I was thinking of trying a 3" but the ultra grips are kinda pricey - was hoping to run across a used one
