Smile the hole story! Little long

I know i already posted about the new set up, but this is the hole story.I'll start off by telling you the story.
last season i had a near 50k mile stock motor pushing close to 600 rwhp(that will tell you about the ls1!!!)
towards the end of the season i crancked the boost a bit and blew a head gasket so I desided to pull it apart to freshen it up.
I proceded to order parts, do home work, and proced to pull the motor. I ripped it down to just a block and heads, then headed to EAST SIDE PERFORMANCE>>>>
and with a little help from Those guys got the block out. while i was doing this Ken sent out a core to get ddone up for me.
it was a stock block checked for cracks ect, stock crank and rods also checked and ballanced.
I used a dimond pistion with a 8.5-1 comp a new comp cam custom grind all arp bolts, rod/ main ect. New berings and gaskets. ESP assembled it for me, sent the heads out and had them redone with some new 921 springs a 5 angle valve job and a little clean up and resurface. math says im around 8.75-1 CR with all i did. I took the new block and all my old parts and spent 2 weeks with the car at my house (EVERY NIGHT) cleaning, painting, cleaning up wiring ect! it all looked great!!!!!
went back to ESP the help thow the motor back in, I took it home and put the rest back together again. During all this the car stayed dam clean!!!! Get it all together and make another trip to ESP to fire it up and dyno the car, we do so while me not zip tie one little spot rubbed the upper hose and anti freeze was covering my ENTIRE car!!!!! oh well, my bad. hey i was a ls1 pulling virgin! anyway i bring the car home put some miles and a lot of fresh oil in it, then back to ESP, meet up with them and NoGO there tunner!!!!! after about 40 dyno pulls and 29 tunes he got it real nice. the only issue i have is a boost drop around 5k which is getting worked out now, once it is we will screw with boost and timming, but for now with a spike at 11 slowly falling to 9 the car made almost 600 rwhp and 600 rwtq. it was about 60-80 rwhp higher threw the hole RPM range till the boost fell of, then it levled out a bit. I feel with a little more spring pressure and a new tune to acomidate for no boost spike the car should make 630 or so, maybe more. all in all im very happy and have to thank Eastside for all their help, they where great, speed inc for alot of parts i got, and a few friends that helped me out wether passing wrenches or drinking beer.
other mods this winter include rear hals, abs deleat block, front skinnies with sportsmen tires, new tq arm(craked the old one),i think that is about it.
oh yhea, a set of nasty ESP valve covers!!!!!!2 step, Alot of paint and cleaning!
It was kind of a budget build, but it feels much sronger all around, and man on the street it feels soooo nice!!!!! cant wait till april 3rd opening day at NED!!!!
the end
