I know most people seem to prefer no split or reverse split for a cathedral port turbo setup, but I am seeing a lot of huge split cams being preferred on n/a LS3 based setups, even up to 20+ degrees. Makes me wonder if no split would still be best for these rectangular port heads or if an exhaust bias would be preferred in a turbo setup since the intake side flows so well?
Setup is a generic 402 LS2 with factory LS3 heads, log manifold 80mm (ST80) turbo setup pushing ~12psi, maybe 750hp. And I am thinking mild daily driver cams here (~230s duration), nothing radical. Thanks
