water methonal questions
water methonal questions hi i was wondering on doing some water methonal for my boosted camaro. i had a water to air intercooler in the car but i need a new intercooler.
here is my questions would you buy a water methonal kit or just buy another water intercooler. what would be the avantage of buying one or the other. or both
and if i run both methonal and a water intercooler what should i excpect my intake temp to be.
and do i need to reprogram the ecu for the water methonal..

What is your car used for first of all? Street? Strip? RR?
If you need a new intercooler, you need a new intercooler. You answered the question there yourself :wink:
You don't have to buy a meth kit. It will supplement your turbo kit.
You can always replace the A2W IC and replace with an A2A IC and buy a meth kit. It all depends on your goals and what you want to spend.

its a street car. and i want the water to air intercooler. but how big of avantage is the water meth over the intercooler or adding it with the intercooler. and would i need to reprogram the ecu for the meth kit if i do get it.
Sounds good, man. Go for the A2W then. The meth itself wont give you power. It gives you the ability to add timing and fuel to create more power because it reduces knock. If you install meth the tune will need to be gone over.
