Default Vortech Twin Screw?

Well I have been doing some research and I have decided to do a Supercharger over a procharger or Turbo. I am having trouble finding a Vortech Twin screw for my 02 ls1. Do they make it? if so where can i find one? Thanks!

vortech is a centri just like procharger.

You will have issues fitting a positive displacement sc in a 4th gen due to the cowl.

Twin screws are whipple and Kenne Bell.

Not discounting the fact that it would be a pain in the *** to fit, i agree, however,

I thought for sure that i saw an add or a video about a vortech twin screw within the last 2 years.

Vortech makes a twin screw for the new f-bodies. You could modify some things to make it work, but it would be a lot of work.

That kit is made to hook up to an ls3. Even if you could get it to fit under the hood, you would need a different manifold. Vortech also makes a kit for the trucks with the right manifold, but I doubt it would fit under the hood/cowl without major modifications.

...unless its a Vortech twin screw, in which case its a Vortech, not a KB or Whipple

Vortech has had twin screw Lysholm based blower kits for a while now.

Procharger makes a great supercharger, but vortec has been around for a loooong time. Pretty sure both companies probably know thier ****, and make a great product. Id feel fine going with either.

Well I found a very similar of what you mentioned,

http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ma...rgerkit-1.aspx. Just a 1/4 inch lowering of the K-member and a little knotching to the cowl and it will work.

Turbo > ProCharger > Vortech IMO. I'd talk to Bob at Brute Speed and have him hook you up.

MP112 is a waste of time unless you want to just do a stock motor, 500rwhp-ish setup.

Well it will have 243 heads, Kooks 1 7/8 LT's, Kooks 3" True duals, a TSP Torquer V2 cam & Forged bottom end. I would be completely fine with 530-550 rwhp. That's what I am shooting for anyway. These guys seemed to be hitting around the 520 range.

It is also doing this on a stock 191k mile engine and can still be pullied up for a lil more if ever needed. I have less than $3000 in the Intercooled blower kit, fuel system, and full dyno tune. Yeah, real fail...
