Time to make some decisions
after the two+ years of beating i've given it I cant really complain. a month or so ago it tossed a belt at the shiftlight in fourth and considering the speed I was at it got pretty hot before I could safely shut down. been downhill ever since. i had a random minimal KR i was able to tune out prior (attributed that to the colder weather and denser air), but since the tossed belt ive had 5-10% random swings in fuel trims, huge variance in part throttle and WOT AFR, shitty cold starts, poor idle and part throttle characteristics, etc.
normally i wouldnt be overly concerned one way or another as this would be a great excuse to drop in a forged shortblock, but the trans is very very angry with me right now which kinda throws the budget for a loop.
hope to have the heads off tomorrow evening for a more definitive answer
