Default Single turbo ls1

I am in the process of building a single turbo fuel injected late model Camero with a single monster Turbo shooting for 1200 + whp . I am curious to see what kind of blocks you guys can recomend I have heard the c5 r block other people have told me to go with the Darton sleeved blocks and other s still recomend the cast iron .I would like to keep the car an LS1 not a small block chevy motor .Can anyone tell me what kind of power these blocks can handle ..Does anyone know if there are LS1 powered cars making in the 1200 to 1400 rwh range . Any advice would be appreciated . Thank you

C5R is pretty much the only way to go. Some people have been making good power on other blocks, but if you have the money to build a 1400 WHP car, you have the money to spend it on a quality C5R block.

The guy with the convertible has to have over that rwhp also. He is also using the same block and heads.

Do you meen Ronnie Dukes Vert??? Its a C5R 387 i believe because compression would of been to high with a 4" crank. 427 (Kurt) would know all the details he and the guys at W2W built it.
