317 heads on stock bottom end?
1. take my crappy heads off and replace them with ported 317 heads to lower compression ,add a 3.4 pulley to raise boost to around 11 psi ,and tune with race gas.
2. leave the car like it is right now at 460rwhp and find a block to start a new build on that will let me reach my power goals in a more expensive but more reliable manner lol. any other ideas are appreciated as well. thanks in advance
although anything over 500 rwhp can be a crap shoot on a std bottom end.
If you want reliable, build a forged short block.
