whick is better looking for over 1200 hp out of my new build

Dont use a aluminum block for a big boost motor, wont last or seal worth **** for long

what about the heads. and intake should i use the ls3 heads and intake or the 243s and ls6 intake

If you don't mind the extra weight I'd go with an iron block. In my case I already have my L92/LS3 block. I'm thinking of doing a 1/2 fill, pinning the mains and using the stock crank. Everything else will be forged. I'm hoping for 1200+ at the flywheel.

There are many aluminum blocks that have been taken past 1000RWHP. You just need to keep in mind that at the end of the day you don't have an iron block.

ok i picked up a 408 with a 8.5.1 cp ported heads and a 102 102 intake/tb setup, hope all goes well

408 iron or aluminum?
