Hey everyone,

Just curious my ultimate goal is to pro charge my 00 WS6. Just wondering how much boost a d1sc can make on a built engine, with the good inter-coolers? I would like to build the car for boost and possibly make 12 ilbs at the most, will a D1SC push this much?

Itll go more than 12lbs...how much of a built setup? That will be the determining factor...

 

I've seen a D1SC go as high as 19 lbs before, that's not to say it couldn't go higher as well depending on the combination. It gets dangerous spinning the blower that hard though at those kind of levels

a ls1 with a great set of heads I would say the blower would be making a boost level of about 16psi at its max impeller speed
there are way to many combos to tell you where your boost will top out

 

I wouldn't worry about boost numbers but I've built a few 346's where it made over 800 rwhp.

With the right combo it can make 850 to wheels all day-it's nice little blower.

 

Ryan, 12 psi is not a problem for a D-1SC. I've seen 16 psi from a 408 cid. Bob
