Taking out oil level sensor?
Taking out oil level sensor? While installing my downpipe the other day, saw that it is sitting way to close to the oil level sensor wire. Probably going to have to ditch this sensor and rely on the ol' dipstick to tell me if things are going to hell. My question is that if I get rid of this, is there some sort of dummy light in the dash that will be on all the time? Thanks!
Yea, im thinking same thing for my truck. It will display low oil level on the message screen. But im sure i can install a resistor in the connector to simulate correct reading.
also thought of using it as a return/drain for turbo.
