Default my ls2 cobra is almost done...

I've had my motor at the machine shop, getting ready for some diamond pistons, compstar 6.125 rods, CNC'd SD LS3 heads, etc... for a single turbo build. I'm unsure as to how big i'm going to go with the turbo, but i want to hit 1000whp for sure. Rather than nitrate my stock crank, i went ahead and ordered a new 4.000 stroker crank from ohio crankshaft for the build. After talking to some guys with experience with these LS motors, I am worried about the runnign the stroker crank with a turbo setup. I was told that the heat generated will causethe bearings to fail in time... that has actually happened to a local guy with a similar setup as well... but I had written it off as bad luck. Do you guys have any input on the subject? Will i run into problems with a stroker on a turbo setup? I built this car to run as well, so i plan on laying into it often. thanks

thanks man... it's an 04'. I can't wait to take it to our loal mustang show and laugh in their faces when they start talking ****. I definately want to take it to the dealer to ask them why it is idling irratic, and whistles, and won't make it past 2nd gear (glide) lol. These cars have sick motors in stock form. I ran it low on oil and spun a bearing, but rather than rebuilding the little 4.6, i figured i'd go big or go home.

I should have a stout setup. I have every intention of seeing 1000rwhp... So far, i'm in pretty good shape... I'll be running the following.

LS2 shooting for .010 over...compstar rods 6.125...diamond pistons...upgraded rings...ARP heads and mains...SLP ported oil pump...dual roller billet timing set...LS7 lifters...LS9 head gaskets... moly 7.4000 push rods... SLP balancer... ohio 4.000 stroker crank...harland sharp rockers...S.D. LS3 heads with ferrea stinless valves springs and retainers. The cam and intake are undecided, but i lke the holley hi ram.. just don't know if i'll have room, but if not.. i will probably go with a victor jr. with a wilson elbow and 90mm throttlebody. I have the pt88gt91 precision right now, but i'd like to go bigger than that. still not sure what i'll be doing for a turbo. I actually 'bought' a new FTI Level 5 glide on here last night, but after he agreed to my offer, and i spent all morning trying to get in reach with him to make payment... he sold it to someone else. thanks for being a dick, and not even shooting me a text asking if i'm willing to spend what the other guy offered you, to have the dibbs on the trans that you already agreed to sell me, dick.

What trend? Because if its putting an ls, even a blown ls into a early/mid 2000 mustang, that its been done plenty prior to this one.
If ur talking using a "cobra" body, then I think they all should have this mod done from the factory.
