Default Would like to know about this Precision turbo.

I'm looking at a Precision "GT4788", its an older model & I beleive that the earlier precision models like this one were basically a garret unlike the current precision models that run their own inhouse compressor wheel. Its part#150-5030, the reason I'm asking is that it currently has an exhaust housing that is not what I want to run but I have the one I need, it came off a friends Garret gt47. Will this housing work and can I use a garret blacking plate? I want to swap backing plates to run the aluminum one. Called precision and the wont give me a straight answer, the want me to send it in if I want to buy a backing plate from them.
