Saw this on another thread. From the looks, hell of a deal. One guy had it installed on his truck, said it wasn't too bad to install, minor adjustments.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-Hot-Side...item1e653b208a

BUT... it goes on the Driver side. Just saying... an option to consider.

Good luck.

By the way, what don't you like about your rear mount? Give some details on it, maybe theres some suggestions that people can give to help you improve the performance rather than completely switch over. I know someone who is fed up with their front mount, wishes they went rear.

(Got my rear mount custom build coming back to me tomorrow... hopefully)
(Custom Rear Mount T76 On3 Ball Bearing, stock exhaust otherwise, stock bottom, LS9 Cam. Estimated 500-550 hp... Dyno results coming in soon).

Aha... damn, how much hp you hoping to get? 1 million?
No seriously, what hp you hoping for? What boost level, etc?

Where are you located? I'm in Vegas. My builder is Jim at CalSpeed and Performance out of Bakersfield, CA. He does a lot of business between CA and Las Vegas.

Here's a video of another customer's car that he did. Its a C5 Corvette with Twin T76 BB Turbos from On3 (Rear Mounted). Same unit that I'm going to be using, but I'll only have one.

Give Jim a call if you like, maybe he can help you with whatever's holding you back from your build goal. He helped me through my build goal decision making and had some great suggestions for me along the way.

Again, good luck!

Yup.... Sariously. I think he didn't like the idea of moving so much stuff around in the engine compartment. That's one of the main reasons I went with a rear mount setup. Less invasive on the engine compartment. This will be my daily driver. Other guy had melted plug wires (even with Turbo Blanket), electrical issues, ATF Fluid lines ruptured (Actually soaked his blanket and caught the engine compartment on fire for a few minutes!!), had to relocate powersteering shafts, all sorts of stuff. He's had a run of bad luck I guess you could say.

Not to say that rear mounts are going to prevent you from issues, just different ones I guess. I'll let you know! HA!

To each his own, I guess, right?

NodRok, so what issues are you running in to? What kind of problems? What's wanting to make you go to Front Mount? Just curious.

Ahhh. Gotcha. 900 HP. Nice goal.

Might try twin turbos, running 2x T76 with .96 AR. Just a thought. That's what that vette was running I think...

Good luck with your build. Hope it works out well for ya.

Keep us posted.

Twin would get the job done, but with all the money I've spent switching to twin is not the best cost effective option. Lol
