Boosted break in question
Boosted break in question I put a refreshed LS3 in the car and am going to be putting a roots on it.
do I wait until break in to put the SC on there or just go with the boost and just take it easy until break in is done?

Install everything! Take it to tuner and let it rip u want a good break in to seat the rings and u need to cycle the engine through the rpms don't just take it easy give it hell.
No such thing as easy break-in....run the bitch the first time just like you're gonna run it when you race it. Or you will not break it in properly.
You could also break it in N/A....just run the bitch hard right out of the gate.

agree with the above statements, just make sure you do the proper cam run in ect, make sure its not overheating, oil pressure good ect. then take it out and see how many gears you can go through spinning the tires. lol If it has a clutch then take it easyish for the remainder of its 500 mile break in. Change the oil by then surely the rings should be set. Add what ever good oil of your choosing, install the supercharger put it on the dyno and show no mercy.
