Default Can a turbo car pass Canadian Emisions ?

Should I even try and pass the strict canadian emission test.
I dont want of sacrafice huge power just to pass. But if I could pass I would like too.
My car will be tested as a hotrod so the limits are higher.

Is the cam the major factor in passing the test. I'll have a stock 6L cam but I was thinking of getting a turbo cam.
The car will be running 10-12lbs through a 6L bottom end and 317 heads with 83lb injectors.

Yes the cam is the major factor. Good thing most turbo cams don't have too much overlap so they should pass fairly easy.

My car has no cats and a double digit overlap cam, it won't pass the idle test but passes the rolling test.

The turbo itself will have no impact at all on emissions. It's largely all camshaft and tuning ( unless possibly massive injectors cause a problem, but thats 1000cc and upwards )

As above, stick with a mild cam and with proper tuning there should be no problem at all.

You should be OK with the LS9 cam. Its factory. Also, turn down boost controller during emissions testing. Should have no problem with good tune. (Keeping your cats on?)
