Default My lm7 build

Well my ls1 decided to invite coolant to its party. End game. So in it's place I picked up a 72k mile lm7.
Ls6 oil pump
Stock ls6 heads.
PP gold dual springs.
TSP 224/228 cam.
MP T70 on a 6psi spring waste gate.
Manual boost controller
Snow performance boost cooler.
Shooting for a 10-12psi street car.
On the last build using the f13 and ls6 heads it made 533/494. On 6psi

Wait...it pushed coolant on 6lbs? Or did you have it up higher?

No just 6lbs. But the real reason for it, is that the guy helping me, used motor oil as lubricant for the headbolts so i know that is what cracked the block.

lessons learned. It held up for over a year though. Somehow.

sure thing on this build as it is now
72k mile 5.3l lm7 $950
TSP 224/228 cam
already had ls6 heads and dual springs from prior engine
bought mls ls9 gaskets
new gaskets
ARP rod bolts
rod bearings (insurance)
ARP head bolts (had studs on prior motor, but doesn't work for 2004+ motors)
FMIC Truck manifold kit MP T70( also previously purchased)

i have about $2000 give or take a few in this build now. But that includes a new flywheel and clutch.
I'd say it is safe to say 5000-5500 in this build. But costs to buy hot sides have come down a bit in the last 2 years. And lm7s can be had for cheaper in other parts ofthe country. I just wasn't as fortunate.
