Having issues with car. Help wanted
#22
Hows the oil pressure? God forbid, but could it be a reluctor wheel problem, maybe took out the thrust bearing if the converter wasnt spaced right. Just a thought. Had a similar problem on my brothers car and thats what it turned out to be.
Also could easily be an electrical gremlin. Bad ground, loose connection etc..

possible ground connection to the harnesses? I had the same problem, the car would not idle, until I added a retarded amount of fuel and then it would idle at 2k+ rpms. Found a loose ground wire on the back of the DS head and everything was fine. I didnt have any funny TPS readings but I think it was the coil ground that was making it run funny.

Well installed the harness back on the car and it starts up and runs...lol. I have no idea what it was. All I did was un-pin all the **** I was not using anymore.

check if the PCM is sending the correct signal to the gray wire
check and see if the tps is sending the correct signal to the pcm through the dark blue wire
make sure the ground side is ok (black wire)
check splice 118, 116 and 119 for damage
see if you can separate the wires from the connector and plug them in directly to the TPS without the connector. Everything might look ok but the pin tension could be bad.
sorry i couldn't find a smaller pic
