CNC 6061 plate.
uses both oe tensioner(relocated) and mechanical heim link tensioner.
locates very tucked in.and inboard. all is cnc machined.
ive got few of these. on mine and other i turn 7000rpm. prolly daily. or when i drive the car.
got a few configurations. have a truck pulley version, fbod pulley version.
even my own ps pump configuration. use alum body typeII ps pump. but locates ps alot more inboard than stock fbody and also remote reservoir.
if the fbody pump is not avaialble. both for truck and fbod offset.
runs good. no issues. just gonna change a few things on ps deal. make it more compact. found a different reservoir which is lighter, smaller. than the one i got now.

The alt is nearly touching the head. It couldn't be any closer to the engine. To unclip the alt plug you have to use a tool or unbolt it...it's tight for space there.

i got new version now. updated. made it lighter. slightly more inboard.
uses truck or fbody alternator. also fbody alternator keeps the rear plastic cover.
just gotta trim off the "snorkel" and it is about an inch or less higher than the throttle body.

Here's the alt. Kit nemess was talkin about. Works awesome we've been testing it for some time now.

And here is a pic of we we call the koala bracket. Awesome belt wrap and no belt flop

I will have some better pics tomorrow... alternator fits perfect very snug. No issues of any kind even with aftermarket fuel rails...and as u can see my breather is taller than the alt.

that stuff looks nice. Are there any kits that place the alt on the top passenger side but below the throttle body? Hood clearance...the tb is very close to touching my hood.

Just for kicks i bolted the alternator up to the waterpump(tensioner mounting hole) It appears to be about 1 rib off alignment, has anyone else done this and possible shaved the alternator a touch to get the alignment right? then possibly use a turn buckle on the other alt mount hole for tension.

Aside from that it looks like i am going to have to modify the stock bracket like tallytransam.

has anyone found out if the fitment of the alt/power steering relocation from speedway fits 4th gens or not?? It looks very good and would love one but dont want to order one if it will hit the shock tower. Pretty sure it will clear truck mani and hood.

Clears my truck manifold setup. Don't have a picture setup of the turbo on it yet. Very nice piece.

Hood clearance I'm not sure of yet.. I'm hoping it does. Totally spaced on that. I have an LT1 car with an SS hood. We'll see in a week or so when I can finally put it all together. Here's a couple pictures of it.

I just had a thought... I feel like the PS reservoir sits about the same height as my nitrous solenoids. I'll bolt them on tomorrow and grab some new pictures.

were getting closer to releasing ours. (i know its almost been a year) we've been testing it for years. here are some pics.

ill start with our alternator relocation. notice how low it sits and doesn't interfere with anything

and here is our power steering set up......ignore my extremely dirty car. This was our mark 2 prototype, it looks much cleaner now. gives you a good idea of where it sits.

and here they both are on a c3 swap we did

Look's like the alt would hit the strut tower on an F-body with that setup, anyone try it on an F-body yet?

Clears the strut tower. My setup is for my 95Z. But I bought it after seeing it all set up with my turbo kit in the previous owners ls1 car.

I do not like that idea of hanging the alt on the passenger side due to it being too high and looking out of place. I loved the idea of the speedway bracket but didnt understand why the ps reservoir was so high too...so since I have access to my own CNC shop I decided to tackle this on my own. I am very close to being done but again I am doing this on my own free time which I have very little of. The good thing if any of my "friends" wants to buy one off me I can sell for probably half the amount of a speedway. I can do some in carbon steel powdercoated in any color i choose or I can do it in stainless for just a few bucks more. Here is a very quick mockup and simple bracket without the standoffs welded or drilled and tapped. As you can see the PS reservoir cap is almost perfectly level with the top of the TB unlike speedways. This bracket will also clear truck manifolds along with many configurations but however I do not believe it works with fbody ABS block in stock location. Not sure because mine has been gone for a while now

Hundreds sold, No Belt tensioner required. Will except 4 different alternators, even the 145amp truck alt.
