317 heads Just got ahold of some 317 heads, to lower the compression on my turbo 383.
Have stripped them to clean up and give a valve job.
noticed the chambers are very rough cast, would it be advisable smooth them to help prevent hot spots/carbon buildup and detonation on a boosted engine ?
