Default PT 7675 guys lets see your numbers

What are the peak #'s and at what RPM are you guys seeing out of this turbo. Hoping that the 75mm Turbine side will keep power up top.

I'll go first...Mine made 690/690 I think the peak was around 6000rpm. 370 cubic inches 15psi thru a 4l80e and a 14 bolt rearend. Turned it up to 17 psi and it made 743/707 but was out of fuel so I didnt lean on it any more.

Thank you. Thas what I wanted to see. I am scared it will run out of steam up top but pulling to 6000 on a 370 is fine.

I also had a question about the v band on the outlet. I appears to be 3 5/8" will it mate fine with regular 3" downpipe/vband or do I need to modify?

I used a 3 inch v band coming off the turbo then a 3x3.5 transition and used a 3.5 downpipe on mine.

Right on. I just wondered about the fitment of a 3" v band over a 3 5/8" turbo outlet. It is slightly bigger to fit th 75mm wheel I am guesing

Graphs loom nice guys. Peaking around 6 but not dropping bad at.all thats what i like to see

Where do you think a squareport mild cam 370 will put the power? I like how this turbo just carries peak power. Not buliding power fast and falling on its face because of a baby ex. Wheel

i really need to dyno mine again.. i was scared the first time to turn it up past 12 psi on my jy 5.3 and that made 550(580) on a mustang dyno. The dyno shop was dead *** cold at the weather station like 25° but the air coming into the engine was never below 60 in the heat soaked bay sitting at idle.., so the correction took the 30 horsepower off. but ill say 580 anyways because its a stingy mustang dyno lol.. I have the smaller .81 housing on mine so it made peak power at 5500 rpm... but turned up to 16-18psi at the track i ran 104 mph spinning pretty much to the 330 mark and a 3900 pound race weight.

824 flywheel at 16psi on a 224/228 cammed 05 L33 5.3. Has forged pistons now, hitting the chassis dyno soon on 20+ psi.

I like seeing these threads, gives me hope my combo will make some serious power. I have a 10 to 1 370 with LSA heads, patrick g 222/226 cam, ofi turbo kit with a 76gts, meth injection, MWC 9" and a T56.
I hope to have it finished up and on the dyno next month sometime. I hope to make 680-700 on 10-11 psi and 830-850 on 17-18 psi.

Probably right at the end of it. Although I see t76 383/385 builds with good results. The on3 makes killer numbers also. Same as more expensive counterparts. Just depends on the power goal. Most 76/78mm compressors can support 8-900 hp but the exhaust side all use a 68mm wheel. That is the issue when trying to use it on larger cubes. I went with this turbo for the physical small size and not having to use a 4 or 5" downpipe. I have a stock k member and my turbo kit comes with a 3" downpipe already fabbed.

My power goals are only 6-700 whp. 6 speed. Will make for a fun street car. I am not going out trying to make 1000+ I feel it will be plenty efficient for my purposes seeing how mostly everyone is satisfied with regular 76/68 combinations. This turbo might just give you the edge when everyone elses exhaust gets backed up you will still be making power and if the compressor is all done your not falling off as bad because the exhaust is still getting out that much better. You are not just making more intake pressure because your exhaust is plugged. (my old problem) A few millimeters on a round outlet makes all the difference in the world in terms of flow. It exponentially increases.

If this turbo doesnt give me the big end I want I will just go to a t6 s480 in winter and be done with it but I really have a feeling the 76/75 will make for a great street turbo esp with a 6 speed.

I ran mine at the track last year 370, PT76GTS (vid below still in tuning process) then the MPH/weight calculator said about 850hp, this year I upped the boost and got it dialed in pretty good. 20psi felt like a rocketship compared to last year. I think its safe to say it was easy 900whp.
This is through a JW glide and I figured it out last year w/ my logs mph/rpm im losing about 5.5% through the converter.
Unfortunately I lifted a head and have to take it apart and fix it.

Im running E85, atomizer 160 injectors, TU1 cam,

On my jy 5.3 I've been 143mph in my ltd on street tires with a lot of weight added in the back making the car come in just shy of 4100lbs.

How much does that weight help your traction on the street?
