Cool man. Do you have any pics of either build? You can post them in this thread if you want. What size did you go with on your car?

Man what an awesome build... I'm gonna be starting my gt91 build in a week or so. Thanks for posting this will definitely help with mine. Im putting my AC back on as well..... I used my profits from selling my F1A and aster bracket to fund this entire build!

Thanks man, I did the exact same thing. I had to put a little money with it because I had to redo a few things, but came close to breaking even. I love it over the loud f1a. You will too.

I'll get some pics and post them up. I'll start a build thread on the new kit when I start.

I have been pooking around on the car and taking care of little things. I got the Cooling mist methanol kit in a wired this week. Its full and ready to rock and roll. I also swapped gears in the rear from a 4.10 to a 3.08. It needs insurance and a good cleanup and it will be ready for driving and tuning. In the meantime I picked up a tig welder to do some fabbing and misc things with. I will probably be putting a cage in the car next year so it will get used for that, but also other things as well. Here are some pictures of it and me running a few small beads. Enjoy.

Update. I took the car out for a drive to and from work Saturday morning so I could do a state inspection on it. Its basically the first time its been driven more than around the block. Its 17 miles each way so I figured its a good trip with about half of it freeway. It was also about 60 degrees so it was even better. The car did great, but there are some things that need to be messed with. I need to align the car as it was never done so the steering wheel is not straight and it pulls. Cruising at around 45-50 mph the car is bucking when its in od and converter locked up. The timing is bouncing from 34 to about 26 so I need to play with that. The new 3.08 gears went in great and make no noise what so ever. I am proud of that, lol. At 70mph the rpms are at about 1950- 2000. Its cruises nicely. The car is burning all the oil out of the exhaust and everything else from when I had a scavenge pump failure so light smoking when coming to a stop is there. It stopped when I got home. I made a couple of pulls in third gear and the car gets into boost real quick. I have a 9psi spring in the gate and it made that at 4100rpms. My methanol kicks in at 8psi and you can watch the iat's drop 60 degrees. The bad side is I am pig rich. I need to pull a ton of fuel out of it. I am going to start leaning on it a small bit at a time to get it where I want it. On the last pull I did notice the trans slipping a bit in third. I am going to tune and drive it again, but I already ordered parts to replace the direct drum. I am impressed already with how fast boost comes in and the car is pig rich and only at 14 degrees of timing with methanol and 9psi. It has a long way to go, but I am happy with whats it doing already.

Why have the meth come in so late? I have mine come on around 4psi. Glad you get to actually drive yours.

Just testing too see if it worked. I havent really done any tuning or messing with it yet. I left it at the factory preset. I am going to go down but figured it was a good place to start. Trans is almost out and will be fixed this week.

Thanks man. I haven't updated in a while. I got the trans put back together and the car running again. I added an eboost2 this week but havent had a chance to test it yet. I need to work on the idle tuning a lot. The car doesn't want to hold an idle and I also have some bucking while cruising at around 60mph with the converter locked up, above that it goes away. Full throttle tuning is on, I have about 15 degrees of timing on 11psi with an afr of about 11.6-11.7 and the car pulls very hard. Will get some videos up this weekend, hopefully.

Its been 8 months so its time for an update. The car left and went to my inlaws house for a few months so I could focus on some customer cars. While it was gone I was collecting parts for some upgrades I wanted to do. I got it back 2 weeks ago for the time being and went to work. I upgraded alternators, installed a turbo blanket, dumped the spool in the rear for a locker, installed a single nozzle nitrous kit and last and the best, weld rts with 325 50 15 bfg drag radials.

I got everything buttoned up this week and made a few changes in the tune. Had a stumble when the meth would kick on. Well I got that figured out, I turned the nitrous on and let her rip. F******* this car will hurt you if it hooks. 13psi, 50hp nitrous, 15 degrees timing and methanol. I had some fun out tonight and plan to drive it this week some. Here are the pics of the new setup.

Nice keeping the a/c man. I know its tough to fit everything. Most like myself just ditch it but then we suffer on the 90+ degree humid days lol.
