I am trying to look for a blower cam and i need some advice, i have lsx376 which is 9 to 1 compression forged pistons. i have 2" longtubes and a d1sc through a 4l60e 3400 stall. I was looking at a few different ones. the car is a street/strip car.

Gt9 cam 215/247 629/656 121
Comp cam 285 lsr 235/251 621/624 115
Comp cam 293 lsr 243/259 624/624 116

or any other ideas?

They are very very different cams, from mild to wild, in that order.

So do you want a smooth idle, or choppy idle ?

Im now using the GT9 in my 382. It idles nice and smooth, power delivery is also pretty good and seems quite happy to pull 7k.
Exactly what I wanted.

The lift does concern me a little about longevity of valve spring life though, but I'm taking the risk.

i would prefer to have a choppy idle with a nice mid range. the lsr 285 sounds like the best but not completely sure.

Probably is better suited. Although its still a pretty big cam.
