How much power with F1A and twins
Hey folks just needed to know how much power I can squeeze out of my twin 4.5 intercoolers. I'm on the fence about getting a front mount or changing out my D-1 and uppgrading to an F1A. I'm not really feeling the urge to get both front mount and F1A right now. So I'm trying to get some advise on which one to go with; front mount and D-1 or F1A and twins. I wish I can get both but I cant right now... Any hep greatly apprecated...

I believe "TRUST" on here made 800rwhp with the twin inter coolers. If u are going to buy something I suggest buying a FMIC right now so you can be ready for the f1a later on. That aes 390 definitely needs a f1 but you can make plenty of power with the d1 and a 3.4 pulley.

Andy, somewhere around 14 psi the 4.5" twin intercoolers inlet air temps will start to get to the point where the front mount will make more power, as the inlet air temps will be cooler. This would be even more pronounced down where you live in El Paso. I would swap to the front mount first before going to an F-1A and using the twin intercoolers, as I feel the front mount would be more effective. Bob
