Is an s478 to big for a built 347 6spd car? Currently running a tc76 at 10lbs making 545rwhp.

I'm planning on using one on a 346'' LS1 in my sand drag truck... Going 83mm, 1.25AR T4 exh. Would go the 1.10 T6 if I didn't already have the T4 pipes. JoseB @FIS says the BW78MM wheel is really efficient..

The 78mm is fairly unique as it has about the same mass as the 72mm wheel. Will spool quicker than the 74-80 for sure. Surprised not more people run it.

78mm compressor there mate !!! 83,87, or 96mm turbine t6 , 0.9 ,1.10 ,1.32ar!!!! some other options too !!!!cheers

It has the 83mm turbine wheel with a 1.25 a/r, should definitly free up some exhaust pressure. Thanks for the info guys

With a 6spd and the 83mm or 87mm turbine on a 347 it will be a nice turbo to drive and race.

If it were an auto I'd use at least the T4 92mm wheel with the T6 96mm wheel being my preference. Big turbine wheel, tight AR has seemed to produce the best results.
