I'll rephrase an earlier question.
I'm running a D1SC with twin intercoolers.
I want to use a MAF not SD tune. (more stable for daily driving and don't do much racing at WOT)
I am using methanol.
I would like to move IAT sensor to read meth on and off.
Can I put the IAT at the front of the intake manifold, behind the TB?
What is a safe distance from MAF to METH so that METH doesn't break MAF?
I know that when METH is on there should be enough air pressure to blow it away from MAF, but as a rule of thumb what is safe.
How far in front of the METH should the AIT sensor be to get a good reading of cooled atomised air or can it get soaked in METH.
For those that have or haven't done this, the routing is short (maybe 7-8") and drops 1.5" from plenum to TB.
Procharger plenum exit is oval and suits a 3.5" pipe.
MAF if 3.5" in and out.
TB is 4" in.
Any pics of your set up would be great. It seems as though its going to be a mess of pipe, tube and band clamps...
BTW the PCM is going in this weekend for the cars first startup since all the mods listed. Just need to square this query first.

The way we set my roomates car up, it had the MAF, then the nozzle and then the iat, in about 12" of pipe. The nozzle was probably only 4" away from the IAT sensor. We did get rid of the MAF and go to SD, mainly because the stock MAF was at its limits. The car had zero drivability issues with the SD tune, a lot of the older EFI cars were SD and drove just fine from the factory.
