Turbo too small?

Default Turbo too small?

I'm looking to get a kit off a friend he was running a twin turbo set up I plan on doing a single turbo the problem might be its .43 ar all I plan on running fr now is 5-7 psi will a turbo that flows that be too small?

Im no turbo expert but my eclipse was a 2.0 and my turbo was around a 50 ar so tht 43 will be way too small for the top end but it will be instant boost off the line...

thats way to small. it would prob be at full spool at 1500 rpms haha. it just cant produce enough volume of air. nice paper weight though....

I tried a to4e which was a 50 ar.... well it was like having a very soft 4k rpm rev limiter

So at least a .68ar is that the smallest I can go?

I wouldn't go any smaller then .81 backside, assuming this is going on a ls1.....

All depends on the setup, if you can give us more details then we can give you much better info.....

.AR makes little difference.

It's the turbine wheel size that matters and the compressor wheel size that matters.

Run the biggest turbine and compressor side possible and the tightest AR housing on the turbine side as possible for optimal results.

That said that turbo is way too small.
