My engine doesn't like NGK TR7's
Also before swapping out the BR7EF's the 2nd time I also changed to truck coils and Grantelli wires thinking it would clear up the misfire.

Do my B9EFS drive like a TR55...no. However they don't pop or misfire or break up at all. I do run Autolite 103's on the street driving to and from the track(equivalent to a projected tip 7 range NGK) and then swap to the B9EFS at the track.
I just don't see how a BR7 can cause issues when I and so many others have done nothing but just throw them in in lieu of a 6 range and run fine.
The Denso is a good plug though and a lot of new modern boosted cars from the factory run them. They are just pricey.

i used to run autolite 103 (taper)
then switched to ngk tr6 for longer life
i used to run ar3911 (no resistor)/(gasket seat)
then switched to ngk 7173 for longer life (non resistor)
then switched to ngk 2668 for better drivability (resistor)
if you are on a stock computer make sure you are on a resistor plug
Fbodyjunkie what are your concerns with running projected plugs? Is it combustion chamber heat?

I'm thinking I should be fine with TR7IX's any compelling reason I should change them out?

now I’m curious. I wanna take the br7ef out of my nitrou truck and out tr6s in and compare
and another guy said above not to run 14/1 with a big cam as it is too rich... and my truck is far more crisp at 12.8 at idle. 🤪
