Default 4.8 on3 turbo

I am slowly building my car just bought a 4.8 doing all arp bolts and studs ls9 gaskets the good ls1 heads c5 vette manifolds on3 76mm 96ar turbo hks ssqv a 44mm on 3 waste gate manual boost controller and home made front mount turbo kit any input would be help full

hks ssqv is junk

how much power are you planning on making i always feel like guys are blowing tons of money on studs and head gaskets for no reason

im actually in the process of planning a 4.8L turbo build in my 95 z28. im always open for input on the matter so im curious what information some of the members have to share.

original poster ktm, do you have a horsepower goal in mind.

after about 10 years of playing with cars, and learning by myself or from a madman who builds 6 second cars where the math involved is mind boggling i have learned that when you want to build a car.

you ask how much hp.

because you can choose a turbo, fuel pump, injectors, cam, motor, transmission rear, and balance them all over your hp goal.

not how big the motor is, or what "PSI" your friends are running.

horsepower is the math that all the parts of the car can understand and its easy to level out a playing field when you know what you want or are planning on making power wise.
