New engine and turbo break in?
New engine and turbo break in? What's the break in period and how do you do it on a engine with a turbo?
I've heard off guys running the engine NA before installing the turbo. That wasn't an option so how much damage am I doing on the turbo right now?

There's NO such thing as "a break in for the turbo", normally I will disconnect the feed line and turn the car over a few times (unplug the coil packs and crank the car over) until oil is coming out of the feed line, then reconnect the oil feed and fire the car up!
As for engine break in I'm not completely sure as I have never had a brand new motor....

As above prime it up then fire it up and drive it like you stole it!! I change the oil and cut the filter open after 50-75 miles if everything looks good fill it back up and drive the **** out of it don't baby it this is not the 70s and you are not running a solid lift cam.
Im going boost on my motor also and my motor is rebuild into a forged 383 stroker.my motor has been running for about 400miles.would I need yo put more mileage on my motor before I install my turbo set up?
We normally do an idle heat cycle. complete cool down and reheat with normal driving, then cooldown change oil and beat on it, although we like to put a few hundred lighter miles on it before you "drive it like you stole it"
dont just "unplug the coils"
this is bad...youll be spraying fuel still, this will foul out your plugs, possibly wash the cylinder down, or hydrolock the engine..i usually pull the fuel pump fuse, and hit the schrader valve to make sure no fuel is in the rails.
