lq4 turbo ring gaps
lq4 turbo ring gaps Rebuilding my lq4. All factory parts. King bearings, moly rings, headstuds.... Im looking to runthe stock 317's and a Borg warner s475 on 13 psi and meth. I dont wanna runsuper loose rings, but not factory specs. Its going to mainly be street driven and dont wanna puff smoke everytime i mash the pedal. Any suggestions?
for street, lower hp I would go .005per inch bore, full out race .0055 per bore and what ever you make the top at least the same on the second ring if not .001-.002 bigger, never had any problems that way.
