Default BOV Cruising speed sound

could someone point me in the direction to find out about bov sounds during CRUISING speeds. i have a big red (open) running 9.5 lbs through a d1sc and front mount. love the dump part between shifts but during cruising speeds its a little too loud for my liking. i have looked around trying to find out what valve to choose for a replacement if any at all. once again between shifts it can be as loud as necessary, that does not bother me im concerned with cruising speed when its just dumping. do the tial qr, tial q, hks ssqv all have the same air noise during cruising or does the shape design change any of that. thanks for any help

You have a bypass valve, it stays open because the supercharger is making more air then the engine needs. (atleast this is how i understand it)

A blow off valve is closed and opens only after throttle has been released with pressure against it.

I put a filter on mine. Made a world of difference. Just find a filter that will slip over it then clamp it on.

You can switch to a closed face valve, and recirculate the waste air back into the blower inlet. Its not recommended because your reusing heated air but it should quiet the car down a little bit.

That's how Procharger does it normally unless you're using the "race" bypass on the plenum. This is beneficial too because it recirculates the air instead of just dumping it, so the air filter doesn't need to be cleaned as often. I don't think heat is a major concern for cruising around.
