Hey guys I got a ProCharger on my F-Body and I have been having problems with my Proflo Surge Valve. The first problem was it just wasnt working. So I took it off and found out the diaphram in it was bad. I ordered a new one and installed it. Now, its working but its working to much haha! The problem is when is opens, it opens up so far the silver henge mech thing flips itself past where its supposed to. Its kinda hard to explain. Its flipping the henge so far open that it gets locked up and just stays there.
This is the Black Proflo Valve that ProCharger sales im talking about.
I dont want to buy the red racing valve! LOL too much money.
The one I have is hardly a year old and now has a brand new diaphram. Just wanting to know your input on what might be going on to cause this?

There is an adjustment on the back of it that controls how far open it will go. Lossen the set screw, open the valve by hand and then start turning the adjustment. I forget which way to turn it, but you'll figure it out. Adjust it so that it opens to just less than 90 degrees and you should be fine.

You have the vacuum line, and then you have the threaded rod with the set screw on it. Loosen the set screw, then turn the threaded rod with an allen wrench in the end of it. It controls how far open the valve will go. Adjust it so that the valve opens to 90 degrees.
