Rear Mounted Turbo Setup

Just saw a pic of this done on a LS1 F-body and was curious as to how much money it would cost to build one yourself say using a chevy turbo diesel's turbo. Me and a buddy are really serious on trying to develop one for the summer that we might be able to market.

I believe they use a "special" turbo for the STS kits, I think it could be made for less than 2500 using pretty nice parts.

The biggest thing is going to be getting the proper turbo. But I can tell you that a Diesel Turbo isn't going to be what you need. Turbos are very specific. The right one will make lots of power. The wrong one will cost you a lot of money.
