ASP Cogs V. Spring Tensioned 8 Rib
If you could just explain your setup, explain what boost levels you routinely reach, and explain your feelings about your system. Let's try and throw buyers remorse out the window and just dish out the good and bad of each system. I'm much less likely to believe someone who can't come up with a negative.
Thanks guys. You pioneers rock!

Installs easily. No clearance issues. It's an 8rib setup and I only have a 6 rib belt on it right now as well as the tensioner being at or below the minimum recommended tension and I see 9psi at 5000 rpm (have not reved higher than that yet) with ease and thats with some belt slip (i see dust) I have left everything loose because I really don't want to see much boost at this point due to a fueling issue I have been trying to solve for the last 6 months. If I can ever get my fueling gremlin fixed and they send me my 1 piece pulley instead of the 2 piece prototype I have on there now I will slap a 8rib belt on and actually tension the tensioner to a resonable level. At that point I fully expect to see a consistent 12psi.
With all the crap I see the cogs people going thru and knowing the solid tensioner just doesn't work. IMO the setup I have is the way to go.
I get no belt slip at all so far, I've given it a few good stabs, I can't go complete WOT until it hits the dyno, but I think if it holds to converter flashes on the street it will be ok on the dynojet.......
I had to do some spacing out of the tensioner slot in the bracket......got the belt to ride under the tensioner........
I'm going to be taking the car to Sikora when he is avaible to get it all completely lined up.......
Then its go time for the dyno
