Go for it. I love the little 3.8's and know what they can do, but there's so many advantages in going the Ls route.

So true, I couldnt bring myself to do it to my 87GN, but I use my 1981 Turbo T/A. I told my friend that a 84Hot air would be better to me . Look forward to seeing your progress.

Why's that? Everything can go back to original if you save it. Don't cut the harness and reuse as much as you can. You should be fine. An '84 works, too...

Sorry all. It makes me sad to inform you that I have not touched the car in some time now.
