Default Am I making the right amount of power?

I recently had my car tuned and dynod. I have a forged 347, ls6 intake and heads, 10.1 compression, 232/240, 115lsa. Brp mid length headers, 2.5 duals, 4l60e, 8.5 inch rear, 3.08 gear. D1sc, Fmic, 9lbs at 6000rpm. It's all in a conversion vehicle, 81 cutlass. Car put down 501hp and 450 ft/lbs. it seems a little low compared to comparable builds I,ve seen on here. Does this power level seem about right for my set up? What do you think the limiting factor is right now? I was thinking about better heads and some meth inj next year maybe. Would these upgrades get me another 75? Hp?

Tranny has fresh rebuild plus the converter was locked. Now maybe the tune is conservative. I'm ok with a conservative tune if that means my parts will last a little longer. If 500hp sounds about right then so be it. I just wanted to see if I had over looked something and am missing out on some hp unnecessarily.

Can you post the dyno graph? My combo in sig made #'s in sig with 8.5-9lbs @ 6000rpm on a dynojet with the converter unlocked in 95deg heat. My engine is bone stock 99 model 853 heads. My afr was 11.3-11.5 throughout the run and timming is at 12 degrees.

There's 30-50 hp in a true long tube header and a full 3" dual exhaust.

those gears, stall, and larger rear end are holding up some horses. your missing about 30-50 horses id say. prob in the gears and timing. belt needs to be tighter than VP
