Default Is a front mount setup right for my goals?

1) My car is a DD
2) I want 400-450 RWHP which i believe is capable at 6-8 PSI?
3) Budget is key.
4) I will eventually build the rear, tranny, suspension, etc. but cant afford to at all at once/immediately. (college kid budget)
5) Not capable of welding a custom setup...yet

So I've narrowed it down to 2 options, At first i had an initial setup just using the huron speed entire kit but in the new issue of car craft somebody used just their own hotside and a meth kit and ran 20 pounds of boost without an intercooler.

So my main question is, to keep this as cheap as possible, doing a huron speed hotside only+a meth kit? or is meth on a daily driver at low boost even possible?

You can get a cheap frontmount intercooler and piping kit for less than the cost of a meth kit and have it working for you without welding. There are plenty of aluminum generic piping kits on ebay for less than $100 and about the same or a tad more for a good sized intercooler that will work just fine for your goals.

Im in college and finished my turbo build last year. The turbo kit and all of those components arent bad, id skip meth and do a frontmount just because its cheaper. you can always add meth down the road.

The fuel system is what killed me (budget wise). i had less than 4k into the project before the fuel system.
