Twins on a 4.8?
Twins on a 4.8? I am building a low mile 06 4.8 and was considering going with twins. I have a new GT45 but dont think it will reach my goal. looking for 700-800 RWHP on E85. running stock 706 heads. so far I have,
BTR custom ground hydralic roller
BTR dual springs with titanuim retainers
super victor intake
edelbrock elbow
90mm TB
160# injectors
comp magnum pushrods
etc...

twins in the 4.8 world are few between. but i tow have been looking into doing this on my next build. currently i am running a 4.8 that makes 700 whp with a 74 mm turbo. i would look into doing something in the 62 mm range with a .68 -.78 exhaust AR in a t4 format. this will give you the cfm to clear 100 with ease and still spool quick.

junk yard 4.8 stock bottom, worked over 4.8 heads and ls6 cam fast intake and stock ls1 throttle body. 74 mm precision turbo with 96 ar . spools quick enough but on the foot brake i can only muster around 6 psi with my tightish converter. id rather have a tight converter my self so i want to go twins next time so i can still flow enough cfm but also be able to make more psi on the foot brake.

4.8L Twins I'm also considering twins on a 4.8L or 5.3L. I've been looking into GT30's - GT35's with a .6x AR. I think the GT30's would be plenty, it's just figuring out what exhaust wheel would work and not cause to much back pressure.
I had twin 61s on a 4.8, running e85 and it was very laggy. It took about 5 secs on the Tb to build 10 psi.it had a very big cam so that hurt the low end a lot.only thing id say is between going too small and going to big,err on the side of too small.
