Thinking about completely changing the direction of my car, advise?

Thinking about completely changing the direction of my car, advise? Currently Ive been planning on doing a cam/bolt-ons car with some spray. So far I am bolt ons and set up for spray just havent done it yet. Now I've thinking a lot about going the turbo route. It seems to give you way more bang for the buck and Ive ridden in several turbo cars and think Im getting the bug. I have a hook up on a used sts kit that I can get for a steal. I just have a couple questions.
What will i need? Its the basic sts kit no intercooler. I know Ill need to upgrade my fuel pump and injectors, as well as a new tune.
Car has pacesetters with tsp duals. I know Ill need to loose the duals, will any y-pipe set up work?
What will I need oiling wise?
Car is stock bottom end (2002) 75k miles on it. How much boost will it safely hold?
If you guys can think of anything else that may be useful please chime in. Id really like as much advice as possible. I know FI will have more potential than the set up I had originally planned. Plus nothing beats an ls1 on some boost. Enlighten me fellas
