Man I love your Chevelle. Its perfect as is IMO, and I seriously doubt anyone would guess it runs like it does....assuming you don't pop the hood.

You've got one of the coolest cars on the internet!

I of course would take a scotch brite pad to them to dull them up a little. I could then sale my 4" harwood hood and put a stock SS hood on. I think it would be pretty cool to pull up to LS fest with a full factory interior, rally rims, stock hood, full exhaust and drop some mid 9's. It would only add another 50-75lbs to the total weight. I actually think the car would look better. What do you all think? Go sleeper or keep it custom?
Personally I like this plan a lot but I am partial to sleepers. Maybe these will help you decide?-

Yeah, that is a "true sleeper." I still like some custom. My buddy thinks I should do as originally planned and put some 18's on it and run it. His thinking is it will look like it is a 12 or 13 second 1/4 mile car but run mid 9's more than likely. By definition it would still be a "sleeper"

I love sleepers but your car is perfect as is. It's just so mean looking. Don't change anything.
