Mill the heads, smaller head gasket. Gotta watch piston to valve clearance though.

Yea, not doing any of those things. Besides, I thought that a higher CR would not allow me to run higher boost on pump gas...? That I might make more power per psi but id be running less. Would make more power on C16 but less power on pump.

I wouldnt mess with the compression ratio unless you had the engine torn down already. While it would help for sure its not something I would do before anything else. Throw a cutout on, put 93 in it and get it back to a tuner and see how you feel after that.

That's definitely the plan. I was hoping on someone saying I could see something crazy like an 80whp gain. hahahaha But I guess not!

8:1 compression ratio with 10lbs of boost is what Im reading. The easiest way to add dynamic compression is to throw more boost at it! No need to raise compression ratio unless you are unhappy with throttle response outside of boost. With lower compression you can easily run more boost. 1 point of compression is usually around 2% increase in hp. I would say for 1 point lower compression you could run 3-4 lbs of extra boost, which would easily out power the 2% gain from 1 point higher compression. I wouldn't be afraid to run 16 + lbs of boost with 8:1 compression.

You're easily leaving 200 rwhp on the table with out changing anything but the boost controller. Granted I run 92 octane + methanol but I've had 0 issues running 11:1 compression and up to 11lbs of boost on a n/a motor that made 444 rwhp.

A turbo makes its own atmosphere so elevation change wont do much for you if anything at all.

If your running through a muffler right now, i wouldnt be suprised to see a 40+rwhp gain with the cutout being the only change.

It's ran through a magnaflow at the moment. The piping for the exhaust is also only 3" while 4" is needed. So I imagine there is some restriction there.

So you have a single 3 inch exhaust off of each turbo running through two magnaflow 3 inch mufflers? What size turbos? If so I don't see it picking up much with cutouts or larger exhaust. The turbine on your turbo's are probably going to be the restriction. My 5.3 with a little mpt 70 picked up 20rwhp or so at 13psi with the cutout open.

get a meth kit, put 93 in, turn the boost up, and get it re-tuned. You have nothing to fear with a meth kit as long as you go to a tuner who knows what they are doing. If the kit doesnt turn on, the tuner should have it pull a bunch of timing. Its not very difficult to save the motor if the meth kit fails with a good tune.

Im over 600 on a stock bottom end but i run e85

Twin T60 setup. And it's a single 3" exhaust. That's why I like the idea of the cut out.

I like the idea of meth but it depends on how the car runs on 93. I am not sure how much fun 775-800whp will be on the street. Seems like a lot of traction issues.

hahahahaha! 1000whp just seems like to much trouble. No traction at all? I mean that's no fun!

How much do you think going from a port matched 85mm BBK intake and 85mm BBK throttle body to a FAST 102mm and throttle body? That should be a pretty significant difference as well, no?

The bbk is basically a heat sink, it would be worth getting rid of it. I wouldn't waste my money on a fast, get a ls6 intake and use a stock throttle body. Like I said earlier the easiest way to make free power is to turn your boost up.

ill def have a boost controller. the Eboost2has progressive boost control per gear so. ill probably normally drive it around at the 750-850 rwhp mark. 1000rwhp for bragging rights lol. I have a BBK intake, im selling it and probably going with an LS6 with my stock ported TB also. proven setup. The Fast will obviously flow better, but for how much more it flows isnt worth the money on a FI car. Spend that money on the fuel system. like mentioned earlier, if u lose that 30hp from not using the fast, turn the boost up a bit lol

So you're saying the FAST intake/tb shows itself much more on a NA car than a forced induction setup?

So really just a basic ported LS6 intake and TB huh... that'll flow BETTER and make more power than the BBK 85mm?

You NEED a cutout before the muffler. I have personally seen on a twin car making 520 on stock cubes it jumped to 602.

I make 705 through a 80e on straight 93 octane, 13psi , no meth. single 76mm turbo.

On that note though meth will be going on this next week at Slowhawk Performance and turning up the boost. so we'll see how much shes got in her, if the trans will hold.

Also get it tuned while turning up the boost up safely and after you get some meth. you wont regret it. period.

Yea, I am definitely going to add an electronic cutout to the car. That's absolutely without question. If not the power gain... the volume. :-)

I am definitely fiddling with the idea of adding meth to the car. But I am not sure how necessary or fun it will be to drive in the street with 750-800whp. Theres a line somewhere, or has to be anyway... when the car goes from being fun to drive on the street (car hooks a bit better) to just being to much of a pain to drive because every time you get on it... the tires break loose! So I am kind of under the impression that 12-13psi on straight 93 octane would make at the very least, 650whp (assuming the cutout adds ZERO power). I'm really just hoping for a car trapping 137-140mph. And being a 6 speed through a 12 bolt... i'm hoping it's more than likely.

If the car has the power on tap you can always back off the pedal and make less. But if the power is not there, no matter how hard you stomp the pedal it still won't be there.
