Supercharger Upgrades
Quick question. Keep in mind I don't know much about FI, or superchargers for that matter, so if what I'm saying doesn't make sense, just let me know, thanks
.How much boost can you run with the Procharger P1SC supercharger, if you change pulleys? At what point do you need to upgrade(D1SC?) I want to run about 12-14psi tops. Also, can you give me a rough idea of how much the upgrade costs?
What about Vortech, at which point(psi of boost) do you need to upgrade to the V-trim or Y-trim, etc. I'm not sure what trim levels support in terms of psi of boost? I see that Pro Stock John is running the Y-trim and is running 746rwhp, that is above my goals(although i wouldn't mind it
) I would only like to see about 600-650rwhp when I supercharge...engine will be forged bottom end w/ FI cam, 50lb? injectors, 6.0L Stg II heads, ported oil pump, all bolt-ons, LS6 intake, upgraded fuel rails, relocated upgraded coils, and some other small appearance goodies.Basically I need to know what "stage" SC I need to run, and an average price cost from the sponsors for one.

Vortech G Trim looks like it can put out about the same number comfortably.
I have a 1500 cfm YS Trim race unit. It has now been superceded by the 1600 cfm YSi.
Make sure that u get the new 8 rib setup. I ordered mine two weeks ago and im waiting for it now.
