You'd be surprised at how much an extra 100lbs on the nose will upset the balance and handling of a car.

Can you drive it, sure, hell, you can take the sway bar off and run skinnies up front as some guys do, but the car will brake worse, turn worse, and not drive as it's meant to. But to each his own.
