Default LQ4 Valley Cover & venting

Curious if anyone has or is it a good idea to vent the stock lq4 valley cover? Such as welding a -10AN fitting on the front and running it to a catch can. Was hoping to do this instead of buying a LS6 valley cover.. Save a few bucks... but is it a good idea or will i spew oil into the can?

It will spew oil into the can, you defenatly need a factory baffled valley plate with breather if you want to go this route.

Most just run valve cover vents to vented catch cans.
