Question about heat reduction with DEI Titanium wrap
Question about heat reduction with DEI Titanium wrap I was putting the finishing touches on my battery relocation wiring this morning and had to do some special routing to account for my turbo plumbing. There are some areas that various wiring (for the battery as well as misc other stuff) is within 2-3 inches of my plumbing. I know the stock fbody manifolds themselves will get very hot, but will the DEI Titanium wrap I'm putting on my plumbing reduce the heat enough I won't have to worry too much about the wiring somewhat near it?

The titanium wrap is outstanding at keeping the heat in the pipes. I was amazed. Between the wrap and E85 I believe my underhood temps are probably below when everything was stock.
