boost gauge power wiring...auto headlights

Does anyone know where to tap into power to get the gauge to automatically illuminate when the headlights turn on? Id like to get it wired up so the gauge will just do its thing when the lights turn on. Thanks

You'll have to find the wire that gets 12v after the lights come on. Im not sure how it works but I would imagine a relay is triggered which powers up the headlights.

Tap into the illumination wire going to your stereo. That's my plan.
